Hello Friends! I know it has been awhile since I have posted. I miss it. I need to get back on track, but things have just been so crazy with settling into our house and the end of school. I really miss doing the daily pictures of the kids and will probably start that back up. I know I have been less than inspired lately. Hopefully all of that will change soon.
I wanted to pop in tonight to share something with you all. I am so excited because I have been lusting over a certain camera bag for almost 2 years now and today I WON one through a twitter give away! Most of you who know me know that I am not a bag/purse person at all! I have been carrying a diaper bag as a purse and camera bag for 8.5 years now. I am just not that into bags. That is until I discovered the Kelly Moore Bag. (Kellymoorebag.com) When I saw this bag I knew it was the bag I needed and wanted to transition away from the diaper bag. My youngest will be 5 in 2 months so clearly we have moved well beyond diapers and needing a diaper bag. I do still need to carry all of their allergy and asthma meds with me and I have to be organized and a purse just wouldn't do that for me. I have seen pictures of this bag packed with kids stuff, a wallet AND camera equipment. All at the same time! Those are all things I have with me every time I walk out the door. I knew this was THE BAG for me!
I don't usually obsess over things but once I find something I love (like a particular carseat or crib mattress that I think is amazing) I usually like to spread the word about them. When I love something I LOVE IT!
So...I know that I have several photographer friends and I just wanted to make sure you were all aware of the Kelly Moore Bag. The one I picked out is the Muted Teal JuJu Bag. It looks amazing and I am so excited but I have agonized over my decision all night (almost to the point of being sick), because I REALLY wanted the B-Hobo Bag in Almost Black. It looks a little more like a purse which is what I am really hoping to transition to, but I stressed over being able to fit all of my stuff in there. I also wondered if I was hip enough to carry such a stylish bag. I have issues...I blame it on the diaper bag carrying for almost 9 years. She also has an amazing looking men's bag. It is really cool looking and I don't know of any man into photography who wouldn't like to carry this bag.
I can't wait to get my new Kelly Moore Bag in the mail and take a ton of pictures of it all packed up and write a full review for you all. Hopefully down the road I can also get the Hobo bag as well so that I can review it for you as well. They are so beautiful in person and I know they are just what I need to get away from the diaper bag and have a functional yet very stylish bag.
