Pictures as promised

We are home after a long car ride! Tyler was so sad to leave and was upset with everyone so it made for a long trip home. He cried when we pulled into our neighborhood. He and my mom have such a special bond and he is always so sad to leave her.

Here are a few pictures from our trip. I just didn't feel well through out the week so I didn't take many.

Time to go home

We did end up making the trip out to Robert Lee for the week of Spring Break. Tyler is doing better although still not well by any means. I am still feeling under the weather and of course we have managed to bring this crud in and give it to my mom. Aside from the sickness it has been a great week. We haven't done a whole lot but it went by fast! Tuesday we went to San Angelo and I was having car trouble. We finally figured out after jumping off my car 6 times that the connection was bad. Thankfully it wasn't anything major! I was getting worried by the end of the day! Of course that consumed our entire day!

Yesterday we went and had the kids pictures taken and then I took some of my nephew Rhett and sister Tiffany. I got some pretty good ones of them. I can't wait to see the pictures that we had done of the kids. While I do photography on the side and take pictures ALL THE TIME I despise trying to get a good picture of all 3 of my kids. I feel like I am beating my head against a wall. It was nice to sit back and let others do the work. My kids certainly listen to others much better than they do me so I am hopeful that there are some good ones. I did manage to get a few cute ones of the kids feeding the ducks but by the time we were winding down our photography session with the Cozarts my kids were D-O-N-E taking pictures. I don't think Jaci was feeling well either because she cried a ridiculous amount through out the afternoon. Needless to say I was over it too!

Tomorrow we are heading back home. It will be nice to get back to our routine. My friend Amy and I have decided to do the Muddy Buddy run in Austin which is on May 17. We need to start training now!!! It will be good to start running every evening again! It is going to be a challenge but I need it! You can go check it out over here: http://www.muddybuddy.com/info.php?id=1 I think it will be a lot of miserable fun! :) What do you think?

(ok...so I have been trying to upload pictures for the past 45 minutes but the internet here is Robert Lee is painfully slow so I will update with pictures tomorrow! I'm off to bed!)

Crazy Busy!

It seems like we have been going non stop for the past few weeks. How is it that we are already half way through March??? I am still thinking that it is February! Time is going by way too fast!

Jackson has had a lot going on at school so that has kept us on the go. He had 2 Kindergarten programs, a Kindergarten Rodeo and a Square dance. The Square dance was too cute! I remember loving square dancing in music class every Friday in school. It was so much fun to watch Jackson out there doing it.

Ready for his program. He was one of the few kids to have a speaking part and did great!

Doing the stick horse race at the Kindergarten Rodeo. After getting his face "branded."
Square Dancing! I love the look on his face!
Too Cute!
He really did get into it! Look at his feet 'skipping' across the floor.

In the past week Jackson has lost his 2 top teeth as well! On Tuesday I pulled out one that was really loose and then on Friday while eating a cinnamon roll his other one got really lose and he pulled it out himself. The tooth fairy wasn't prepared for that one to come out. :) Of course you would know that we are planning on doing pictures this next week while out in Robert Lee. I guess every kid has to have the silly pictures with missing teeth.
After losing his first top tooth.

After losing the second one!

All ready for the tooth fairy on the second night. He set a lizzard/cigar box trap for her!

Cracks me up! He doesn't make anything easy.

Tyler and Jaci are just as cute as ever. We were really enjoying the warm weather outside but the past few days it has been so cold and they haven't enjoyed it at all! Tyler certainly loves being outside! We have all been sick here lately and are really struggling to get all of the kids well. Tyler is especially challenging with his reactive airway disease. I just don't know what to do to get him well. He is on every medication imaginable for it and nothing is working. Between the kids and myself we have been to the doctor 5 times in the past 2 weeks. Kind of crazy. It looks like Tyler will be going back on Monday. :(
Tyler taking a picture of me taking a picture of him...I wonder where he gets it from? It's not like I have a camera in their face every day! :)

Jaci waiting for one of Jackson's programs. You may notice that she always has this kitty cat with her. Sadly her beloved kitty cat has gone missing. I need to find her another one and soon. Although she likes other kitty cats she still cries every day for her "oange" (orange) kitty. I am sad for her. :(

We are planning a trip out to Robert Lee on Monday for the week of Spring Break. The kids are so excited. Jackson now understands school holidays and was so ready to be out for a whole week. I hope we are able to get Tyler to a point where he is well enough to go. They will certainly be disappointed if we can't make it.

Other than that I have been busy with taking baby pictures and working on birth announcements. I really love working with newborns...if only it didn't make me want another one so bad! I just love that cuddly sleepy newborn phase. Of course my toddlers are a lot of fun and keep me constantly entertained and BUSY!!!

I Heart Faces Week 9 ~ Creative Crop

I just took these baby pictures on Sunday of this sweet little baby. I love his hand and lips in this shot. It was originally a full body shot but I cropped it in to just show his face. I love how it turned out.

You Capture ~ Week 2 Perspective

Photobucket

PERSPECTIVE. Take a picture from a completely different angle than what you normally would. Be creative…makes us, your audience, see a piece of something that we normally overlook when just passing something by.

When thinking about this challenge I thought of a picture I took at a wedding I did back in November. Everything about the wedding was stunning but I loved the candles and flowers. It was beautiful!

I love these pictures...Love them!!! I love the reflection of the lights and candles on the tin roof. I love the way the red pops! I love the way the lighting is!

I Heart Faces Week 8 ~ Messy

The theme for this week's I Heart Faces photography challenge is messy. I immediately thought of this picture of Tyler from his birthday last year. He has had 2 John Deere parties in the past 2 years and is all ready for another one this year. :) Of course how else would you eat a John Deere cake other than to drive the John Deere cake topper through the dirt cake and then lick the tires. We had a terrible mess by the time he was done with it but he had so much fun!

My messy little John Deere boy! Notice the tractor covered in cake! I don't even know why I bothered giving him a fork...He didn't use it!

It is so hard to believe that 7 years ago this month we were going through IVF in hopes of having a baby. It was a long struggle to get pregnant and I still remember just praying that God would bless us with a baby. He did! 7 years ago I had dreams of what it would be like to be a parent watching their child grow and doing motherly things like sitting in carpool line, going on field trips, reading bedtime stories and kissing hurt knees. 7 years ago I would have never imagined that my baby that I hoped and prayed for would grow up so fast. He has...and it makes me so happy and so sad and so proud of the little boy that he has grown into.

Last Friday Jackson participated in his very first County Stock Show. I'm not sure why this was one of those moments that just got to me. Something about the way he looked and acted just made him look so grown up and I wasn't ready for it. I cried when he got ready...I cried all the way up to the show barn...and I cried every time I talked to someone about it. I cried a lot and I felt really silly for doing it! He just seems so big all of the sudden. Jackson did great! He was a little apprehensive about his rabbit scratching him when he would hold him but when we got there we found out that they would be carrying them into the ring on a piece of carpet. This was good because the rabbit couldn't scratch him but we hadn't practiced this way so neither Jackson or the rabbit really knew what to think of it. Thankfully they both did great after some practice! Jacob and I were both really proud of him. He really is growing up! I can't even begin to imagine what the next 7 years will hold for us but I know it will be amazing!

Posing for the camera.

Looking around with his friend Drew. This picture just cracks me up!

Enjoying a Coke while waiting for the short term rabbit show. It was 91 degrees when we were there!

Checking on Jack (AKA Johnny Hopper)

Taking it all in. He looks so grown up to me.

This is how he had to carry his rabbit into the show ring.

Getting some help getting his rabbit all situated.

Waiting to talk to the judge.

He looks so sweet in this picture.

Talking to the judge.

After the show with his rabbit and ribbon.

Jaci and Tyler playing with the rabbit.
Jack...I couldn't figure out what was in his ear when we first got him but it is his name.
