Jackson ready for his first day at his new school. The tears started flowing shortly after we got there. He didn't have a good day at all. The school is wonderful. His teacher is great. Everyone was so nice and excited that he was there (including the kids) but Jackson doesn't handle change well and pretty much tried to isolate himself all day long. He will get through this and then it will be better than before. We moved here for the schools. It is just going to take some time.
This evening we cooked out and spent most of the evening outside. The weather has been beautiful here in the afternoon and is perfect for cooking out. This works great because our stove and oven don't work right now so we either cook in the microwave, crock pot, or we grill. Grilling is more fun so hopefully the weather will continue to be nice.
