Tonight we have getting ready for the kids to go spend the weekend with my mom at the ranch. 

She is going to pick them up tomorrow at noon so that we can go and make some of the selections for our house without the distractions of kids.  We are going to go back in and go over all of our selections at Morrison Supply as well as go and start looking at the brick and rock.  It is going to be so much easier to get these things done without the kids distracting us. 

They are thrilled beyond belief to be heading out to the ranch. 

We had a lot of action out at our lot today.  The electrician came out and set up the boards for the electric meters.  Of course we still don't have electricity from the electric company and we don't have any idea when we will get it but at least everything is done on our part. 

They have almost all of the form boards set up and are planning to pore the concrete tomorrow right after lunch.  It is amazing how much work is going into our simple little basement.  I certainly didn't think it would be so complicated.

They are forecasting rain and severe storms for tonight and tomorrow so we will see what happens.  Rain could really complicate things tomorrow.  We are hoping for the best though.
