What???  You didn't know we were putting in an indoor pool at the new house? 

And a cool little moat around the new basement/pool.

This certainly wasn't what we wanted to happen 12 hours after having the walls to the basement poured.

At one point we were on the phone with our builder discussing at what point we would need to start pumping out the water so that we wouldn't crack the walls.  Thankfully the rain stopped this afternoon before we got to that point but we were really worried there for awhile.

Our big plans of working out at the lot all day today were also ruined.  It was so muddy out there.

Instead our builder sent us to Abilene to pick out doors and windows.  It kind of sunk in that we need to start getting these selections made ASAP because once they start framing (2 weeks from now) they will need to have some of these things ready to go.

The kids are having a great time at the ranch with mom.  Thankfully they didn't have rain like we did so they were able to get out and enjoy their day.
